This continental map of North America was drawn by D. MacDonald and published in 1881 by H. Belden & Co. of Toronto as part of the Illustrated Atlas of the Dominion of Canada, a county atlas best known for pairing detailed provincial surveys with engraved town views and farm portraits of Canadian settlers.
