Este raro mapa a todo color del centro de Edimburgo fue dibujado por W.B. Clark y publicado por Baldwin and Cradock en 1834. Ofrece una instantánea fascinante de la capital de Escocia hace casi dos siglos, capturando la ciudad justo cuando sus calles más famosas estaban tomando forma.

Sorprendentemente, el centro de Edimburgo ha cambiado muy poco en los años transcurridos: Queen Street, George Street y Princes Street aparecen claramente trazadas, mientras que Calton Hill y Arthur's Seat se encuentran exactamente donde están hoy.
