Diese farbige Landkarte zeigt „The Kingdome of Scotland“ im Zustand von 1611. Sie wurde von John Speed, einem der berühmtesten Kartografen Großbritanniens, auf der Grundlage einer früheren Karte von Mercator erstellt und von Jodocus Hondius für Speeds Werk „The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine“ gestochen.

Eine Kartusche oben rechts zeigt die Orkney-Inseln, während weitere Abbildungen König James von Großbritannien, Frankreich und Irland, Königin Anne und Prinz Henry darstellen. Viele Städte und Dörfer in ganz Schottland sind bereits verzeichnet, ebenso wie die Shetlandinseln, die Hebriden, Skye, Loch Ness, Loch Lomond und der Mull of Kintyre.
