This sheet does double duty, covering both Kentucky and Tennessee on a single 33-by-24-centimeter page at a scale of 1:2,500,000. It comes from The Columbian World's Fair Atlas, the volume George Cram produced in 1893 for Wood Brothers Cash Store of Unadilla, New York, timed to the Chicago World's Fair and its celebration of four centuries of American history since Columbus.

County and state boundaries are marked in the atlas's usual outline hand coloring, and the sheet includes a small inset detailing Nashville and West Nashville, giving the Tennessee capital its own close-up treatment separate from the statewide view. Population figures and area totals in square miles are printed alongside Tennessee's outline, a bit of statistical detail not every state in the atlas received. Both Greenwich and Washington serve as prime meridians here, consistent with the atlas's broader convention.

It's a natural gift for a Kentucky or Tennessee family, for someone who's left the region and wants a reminder of it, or for a collector adding to a set of Cram's 1893 state maps. If you already own one of our other Kentucky vintage map prints, this sheet stands apart as the 1893 Cram atlas view that covers both Kentucky and Tennessee on one map, rather than Kentucky alone. It ships unframed and is available in multiple sizes, suited to a housewarming or an anniversary gift.
