Hailed by the Royal Geographical Society as "the most perfect map of London that has ever been issued" when it was first published in 1862, Edward Stanford's library map of London was a landmark piece of Victorian cartography. This is a beautifully hand-coloured print from the 1891 edition, covering the sheet that focuses on the city-centre districts of modern-day Islington and Hackney.
