This full colour map shows Ireland as it appeared in 1798, created and published by William Faden, a leading mapmaker of his time and official geographer to King George III. It stands among the finest and rarest surviving colour maps of Ireland from the eighteenth century, showing every original county and province.

Nearly every town, village and city is visible, including Cork, Belfast, Dublin, Limerick, Dundalk and Coleraine, alongside the counties and provinces of Ireland. All of the major waterways and bays are labelled too, including Dingle Bay, Belfast Lough, Galway Bay and Donegal Bay.

This would make a wonderful gift for someone from Ireland or who holds Ireland close to their heart.
